New Hampshire Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

30 hours for RN licensure, 30 additional hours with at least 20 hours specific to the area of advanced practice specialization, 5 of which must be related to pharmacology. Current certification in specialty will meet requirements for 30 continuing education hours for RN licensure. 400 hours active in practice specialty in the 4 years immediately preceding date of application. If you are a newly graduated APRN within the last 2 years, program coursework and clinical count for first renewal.
Special Requirements
For licensees with an active DEA #for prescribing in New Hampshire 3 of the 5 pharmacology hours must address opioid prescribing, pain management, or substance abuse disorder.
