But did you know that the GWB is the busiest motor vehicle bridge in the world? The bridge is a double-decked suspension bridge that crosses the Hudson River. It connects the borough of Fort Lee, New Jersey to the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, making it a popular route for many daily travelers. The bridge was first constructed in 1927, and now sees around 103 million vehicles per year.
Although the GWB isn’t the only way to get into the Big Apple, it’s one of the most famous. So, while you’re visiting New Jersey and decide to drive into the city, be sure to take the George Washington Bridge.

New Jersey Home Health Aid (HHA)

New Jersey Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHAs / HHAs) are certified by the New Jersey Board of Nursing (Division of Consumer Affairs).
The Board does not require continuing education contact hours to renew a CHHA certificate. Renewal requires a timely renewal application and the biennial fee under N.J.A.C. 13:37-14.13 and 13:37-5.5(b). To maintain an active certificate, the aide must also be on a current employer’s roster with the Board; otherwise, the certificate must be placed in inactive status.
All CHHA certificates expire on November 30 of odd-numbered years and renew for two years.
Medicare-certified home health agencies must ensure each aide receives at least 12 hours of in-service training each 12-month period (42 CFR §484.80); that is an agency Condition of Participation, not a Board CE hour mandate for individual certificate renewal.
